I decided to make my own Christmas decorations out of shwe shwe this year. I bought two materials (from the 3 cats range) that looked a bit like stars. But after a few weeks of looking at it the project still looks like this.
Luckily I found a wonderful carft market at a Carol Evening for Princess Alice Adoptoin Home, and could shop for some beautiful things while looking at the Johannesburg Skyline all lit up. I bought several things to use as gifts this Christmas presents as well as some great things that I will keep for me.
I bought a few of these hearts made up of diffrent patterns of shwe shwe and hessian. The backs also have a different pattern. These hearts were made by a community enrichment project in Mamelodi.
