I have been chatting a bit (emailing a bit) to Chris Kirchhoff about his pictures of African Fabrics. Chris has traveled quite a bit through Africa and always takes photos of the various fabrics on his travels.
I have seen several of Chris's outstanding photographs and was thrilled to find out that he had a complete series of pictures taken in the Da Gama Factory in the Eastern Cape.
I loved the images of the factory, the people working in it and the rollers and sample storage. You can see Chris' images here.
