I met Phillipa through Vox last year before she came home to South Africa to buy some Shwe shwe(and visit family etc).
In January she sent me the links for some really cool things that she made with her fabric and I have been meaning to post them forever.
You can see the pics of Shwe shwe now living all the way over in Canada in the form of a great skirt and some super baby booties she made as a gift. The booties have a denim sole and are a wonderful hand made gift.
I also think the outfits she made for the Barbie Doll are very cool. (I thought that Phillipa should suggest this to Mattel and they can bring out a whole range of shweshwe wearing Barbies)
